When I wrote about going to the leather class last week, I left out one small detail – the cuffs they gave me to assemble as homework weren’t punched completely, and I could only put together one of them completely.
So one of my stops at Folsom was to see Daddy Wendell and ask for a replacement, which he provided along with an apology from his yummy boy, Andie. I mentioned something about hoping that someone would be incentivized to avoid this same mistake in the future (I believe I might have said, “I trust heads will roll,” but, of course, I meant that in the nicest possible way…) and Daddy Wendell asked if I might like to watch said incentivizing.
Well, duh.
A good punishment is a beauty to behold, and I only wish I had a faster camera and could have captured the paddling in its full glory:
